The store hosted its grand opening starting at 9 a.m. Thursday. The store is located in the Kenwood Collection, across from Kenwood Mall at 5901 E. Galbraith Road. The store’s regular hours will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The new 38,000 square-foot store offers unique offerings, including Prime Now delivery, custom floral arrangements, a squeeze your own orange juice machine, grind your own nut butter stations, cafe seating and self-checkout. “We’re thrilled to expand our presence in the Cincinnati area,” said Store Team Leader Eric Knapke. “With the opening of our Kenwood store, we’ll be able to provide the community with access to a greater selection of fresh, healthy and innovative products, including hundreds from local businesses.” The new Whole Foods Market in Kenwood (Photo: Provided) Since Amazon’s acquisition of the grocery chain, Amazon Prime members who shop at Whole Foods Market have access to a number of benefits year-round, like deep discounts on dozens of select popular products each week and an additional 10 percent off hundreds of in-store sale items. To celebrate joining the community, five percent of the store’s net sales on Sept. 5 will benefit the Madeira Schools Foundation. Whole Foods Market has 11 additional stores in Ohio. The Kenwood store will employ approximately 100 full and part-time team members.
