The new HyVee store in Maple Grove is set to open next week at 18755 70th Way N. After nearly a year of construction, the new Maple Grove HyVee will open its doors to the public Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 6 a.m. during its official grand opening. The approximately 92,000-square-foot store will offer several new features, including dollar and value sections plus departments for home, housewares and gifting. The Maple Grove location will also feature Basin, a beauty brand specializing in all-natural bath and body products. Beauty experts create a fun environment for customers to find their favorite Basin bath bombs, cut soap and body products, as well as several high-end cosmetic and fragrance brand offerings. The store also offers amenities that HyVee has become known for, such as a Sweet Shoppe with gourmet sweets, decadent pastries and cakes; Hickory House Comfort Foods; Mia Pizza; floral; baby and pet departments; and a new housewares department. HyVee Fast and Fresh is a standalone convenience store that will reside in front of the store and offer select grocery items, fresh prepared foods and fuel. In addition, the Maple Grove HyVee will feature a large, open dining area for fast-casual dining with a full-service bar; a fresh salad bar, charcuterie, specialty cheese and artisan bread; a large wine and spirits shop with a walk-in beer cooler; a pharmacy with drive-up window; an in-store dietitian; Allina Health Clinic; a large HealthMarket and bulk foods section with more than 7,000 total items; 650 fresh produce items, including 125 Homegrown and organic items; 6,436 specialty items; floral design and shop; an in-store Starbucks; mother’s rooms; dry cleaning and postal services; HyVee Aisles Online grocery delivery and pickup service; and self-checkout lanes. The opening of the new Maple Grove HyVee will create 483 local jobs, including 100 full-time positions. HyVee is currently looking to fill positions at this location.
